Stephen Boniface

With a distinguished career spanning over four decades, Stephen Boniface is a highly respected Chartered Surveyor, celebrating his 40th anniversary in the profession in 2024. He has dedicated 35 years to his specialism in the conservation of historic buildings, a field in which he has held significant leadership positions, including former Chair of the RICS Building Conservation Forum and the RICS Building Surveying Faculty.

His extensive experience includes running a successful sole practice and, from 2000 to 2021, serving as a partner in a multi-disciplinary practice of Architects and Surveyors, which cemented his belief in the power of cross-professional collaboration.

Since 2022, Stephen has focused on developing and delivering high-quality, interactive training for conservation professionals. He is also the founder of the Heritage Conservation Community, an innovative online platform designed to connect practitioners from diverse disciplines across the globe. An accomplished artist, Stephen was recently accepted as a Member of the Society of Architectural Illustrators and is available for commissions.

Ian Bullock

Ian Bullock is a highly experienced Chartered Surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer with a distinguished career spanning over 25 years in the property industry. He is renowned for his personal, client-focused approach, working closely with individuals at every stage of the process to help them achieve their property goals. His expertise covers a vast range of residential properties, from 16th-century Listed buildings to modern new-builds.

Ian's career is built on a strong foundation, having started in Estate Management before joining Countrywide Surveyors, one of the UK's largest surveying firms. There, he progressed to the role of Senior Residential Surveyor, developing the expert knowledge and deep market understanding that informs his practice today. His strength lies in providing open and impartial advice, ensuring clients, whether first-time buyers, investors, or downsizers - can make decisions with confidence.

In addition to his surveying practice, Ian is a key figure in the property technology (PropTech) sector. For the past three years, he has been instrumental in developing Surventrix, a platform built "By Surveyors, For Surveyors." As Chief Marketing Manager, he is passionate about helping other surveyors build and develop their practices, blending his deep appreciation for historic buildings with a forward-thinking embrace of technology to support the industry's success.
